Marley’s
first Christmas has come and gone. We had a few issues with weather so
we weren’t able to make it to Aunt Debbie’s for the traditional
Christmas Eve event. We were able to get to Aledo among blowing snow
drifts for Christmas with the Hill/McIntyre family for Christmas Day.
Marley spent the whole day in the arms of family. It was great to see
everyone for the holiday.
Aunt Cathy and the boys made it to
Grandpa Joe’s on Friday. It was the first time that all of us have been
in the house since Michelle and Cathy were little. It was a lot of fun
and full of energy with Jacob and Mason. We had a fun trip back among
all the fog on Friday night.
We spent a few more days at Mee Maw’s
and Paw Paw’s house in Aledo and made the road trip home on Monday. It
was a good, long visit, and one full of rest for both Adam and Michelle,
thanks to the grandparents. :)
Marley
is doing well and starting to get on a better schedule. Her sleeping is
starting to become a pattern waking up just a few times a night. Adam
is home this week from work for New Year’s. We’ll be rooting the
Hawkeyes on New Year’s Day in the bowl. Hope you all had a happy
holiday!
