Happy Mother's Day!

This is hoping you all had a wonderful Mother's Day this year.  Mine was just about perfect.  Marley painted a beautiful flower pot for me at school and planted flowers for me.

Besides getting away on Saturday for a pedicure, I woke up today to Adam & Marley making chocolate chip pancakes (yum!).  We also got take out for lunch and Adam came back with a huge carrot cake, my favorite!

Dean and Carol were here this weekend also.  Dean wanted to check out a Corvette for sale down the road, so I also got to go for a ride this afternoon with my hubby in the beautiful weather, albeit I did scream for a few turns on the drive. I was also pretty pampered all day also, along with a gift card for a yoga class that I wanted to take.   I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Marley, the picky eater that she is, has picked up another food that she will eat - spaghetti!  She hasn't mastered using utensils with it, but we don't mind as long as she eats!

Donovan is doing well.  We weighed him on the 1st and he weighed in at 11.5 lbs. which means he gained about 2.5 lbs in 10 days.  He eats very well and is getting a regular schedule down.  He will stretch out to a 3-4 hour stretch sleeping at night, but otherwise, up every 2 hours on the dot to eat.

Nap time with Dad and Donovan

Super smile

He still looks a lot like his big sister.  I found a few more pictures to compare the 2.  I'm glad I have them all dated and the kids in different colors, otherwise, I probably wouldn't be able to tell the apart.
