Summer Fun

Well, my promises of keeping up a better blog have certainly failed.  We have been spending our time this summer at the pool, going to tumbling class, to the park, and on play dates.  Over the 4th of July, we went to visit Uncle Dustin, Aunt Kristi, and Cousins Taylor and Blake in Raleigh.  This picture was taken at the lake house in Lake Gaston.  Marley is definitely a water bug like her cousin Taylor and loved it in the lake, even though Mom and Dad thought the bottom of the lake by the dock was G-R-O-S-S.  The fireworks on the lake were amazing outside Elliott Saddler’s parent’s home. 

Marley is doing well, running around like crazy, and learning new words all the time.  Her favorites right now are “no”, “Elmo”, and “Abbey” (that is the neighbor’s dog’s name).  Everything that moves lately is an Abbey.  We are hoping to make a few more trips before Mom has to head back to work in the fall, including one to the Hill Family Reunion at Patty and Bill’s 50th Wedding Anniversary in July.
