Big Move, Big Trip, And More

Here we are about 1 month later.  Marley is now 8 months old and hitting new milestones all the time.  She is scooting around, ready to crawl at any time.  She babbles a lot, gives kisses, dances, and almost has waving bye bye down.  She’s also mastered the art of clicking her tongue, drinking out of a cup (still working on the sippy cup), and just starting to pick up food with her fingers.

We had our big move to the new house in  at the end of June.  Then took off for San Francisco to visit our friends, Andre, Sara, and Aurora.  Marley did great on her first plane trip despite still fighting ear infection.  We had to take her to a doctor while we were there because it got worse.  We got back home and I got an awful ear infection that wiped me out for about a week.

So we are finally all rested and for the most part, healed, and are now working to get the house in order before school starts in a few weeks at Waukee.  My last day at AIB is this Friday, the 31st.  We are all going to be home for a few days before things pick up again.  Be sure to see our pictures on the Photos page.

The family hanging out by the Bay Bridge in San Francisco for the 4th.  Marley was tuckered after lunch at the Ferry Building.
